Because I don't give a fuck about having more mexican people in the USA. I *do* give a fuck about a loss of jobs and capital from the country. Guest worker programs only contribute to this. I'd much rather have mexicans move here, and spend their money here, than move here, earn money, and then take it back to their countries to spend. At least if they spend it here, the money stays here, unlike with the guest worker program.
I say either just let them in regularly (open border), or close the border and no god damn guest worker programs. I don't care which one, but I won't support guest worker programs.
