Gun control is just feel-good legislation that doesn't do anything except possibly raise crime levels.  When asked if the gun control legislation an american politician offered once would help the crime situation, he responded:  'Well, we've got to do *something*!' 

Think about this.  He didn't say it would help, but that he needed to do something.  His constituents needed to *feel* like the legislators were doing something to alleviate the crime situation in his area. 

It is possible that even *he* needed to feel the same way, even if he knew the legislation wouldn't do anything.  These anti-2nd amendment people offer feel-good solutions that don't actually help anything, and the statistics are against them, if anything.

When did people get so pussy? Carrying weapons is a normal thing.  You just fucking need to be able to protect yourself.  People are such wimpy little dickshits nowadays, relying on the police for protection.  You want protection? Get a mossberg 500.  The police can't protect you 24/7, a gun can.

Is actually right... and furthermore, it has been taken to court before, and the supreme court ruled that the police *don't* have a duty to protect an individual citizen.  The bottom line? *You* are responsible for your own protection.

  The police are great for being detectives, and tracking down criminals, but as for defending your home, your property, and your life, it all boils down to you.  Buy some firearms, some ammo, spend some time at the range, and vote pro-gun/pro self defense.
