US Crime Rate Declines

I think, if anything, the absence of guns & gun rights is the problem, not that there are too many of them.  Don't believe me? Just take a look at D.C.

(>>1 continuing...)

As shown in the 1st link, crimes are going down, with the exception of rape, which is prevalent in anti-gun CITIES, as opposed to pro-gun rural areas.

I blame the increase in rape victims on anti-gun mentalities and legislation coming from cities.

Clearly, people like this guy are NOT the answer:

About 75% of rape is by African Americans. They also own guns.

Bet you gun ownership is more prevalent among whites.

What about crime stats?

What about them?

Is gun crime more prevalent amongst whites?

I don't know.  Sounds doubtful.  Anyways, what does it matter? If you have an argument to make, you should go find the stats and support it yourself, not ask random people on the boards... lol.

"Clearly, people like this guy are NOT the answer"

Neither are democrats.  The republicans are, though.

Republicans don't have it out for you, they have it out for the Fundamentalist hoo hahs, and the people who make 1,000,000 per annum.

Republicans are the gun rights party in the USA.  The libertarians would be better if they had a shot at victory, but unfortunately they don't.

Right now, republicans stand for gun rights, and dems stand for bureaucracy, socialism, and essentially the destruction of individuality.

Name: Anonymous 2006-07-29 19:25

What else do the Reps stand for? Killing and unlawfully holding people without rights, Spying on the American people, Involving us in foreign adventures against imagined threats that cost both Iragi and American lives, not to mention the BILLIONS of tax dollars this war is costing.

I'm sorry, but the Reps suck too.  Asking for "protection" from these threats that have dubious validity is no different from socialism, which deigns to protect people from the market, and themselves.

Yeah I agree with you.  I'd never vote for a democrat though.

The democrats used to be a party of freedom.  It WAS Jefferson's party.  They used to be essentially libertarian.

Then they departed down the road of socialism & big-government bureaucracy and a pro-U.N., anti- national sovereignty attitude.

The libertarian party is the new liberty party.

Name: Anonymous 2006-07-29 22:12

lol libertarian

Name: Anonymous 2006-07-29 22:30

>>14
Will you vote libertarian?

Name: Anonymous 2006-07-30 2:53

No. I won't vote democrat or republican either.

There isn't much choice when the only options are the criminally stupid, the criminally insane, and the plain criminal.

I don't agree with every policy in a particular part either, but that doesn't justify politically neuterring myself and when I vote I make sure the guy I vote for know what I disagree with. At least vote for the least criminal party to help show that the most honest and intelligent parties gain more power, not the other way round. Also start revealing the crimes they have committed by writing a synopsis of current political affairs and distributing it across the internet and to whoever cares.

fail just vote lib, please

you mean libertarian, not liberal, right?

Name: Anonymous 2006-08-01 3:21

NIGGER JUST LIKE TO FUCK THEMSELVES MORE, IT'S IN THEIR GENES SO GUN CONTROL HAS NO FUCKING EFFECTS ON THESE MONKEYS

Name: Anonymous 2006-08-01 3:39

>>20
Well, they don't buy their guns from gun shops anyway.

Name: Anonymous 2006-08-01 18:52

>>21
Criminals in general often don't.  Criminals in general also don't obey gun control laws.  Only lawful citizens do.  This should pretty vividly depict why gun control doesn't work.

Name: Anonymous 2006-08-02 14:55

I'm surprised there are still people who advocate gun control..

Its kinda like

Politician:  "HEY, ELECT ME, I'LL THROW YA IN JAIL WHEN YOU DEFEND YOURSELF FROM THAT BURGLAR LOL."

What a brilliant political strategy.

both Iragi and American lives,
LIE the greator good of at least Iraq is benefiting from the war. Ask the nearest sarcastic, yet battle hardened soldier.

Name: Anonymous 2006-08-05 1:59

>>24
Well, Iraq may be benefiting from the outing of Hussien, but our soldiers and their civilians dying are definately not good things.
Lots of Iragi resistance is not "ALALALALALAL jihad" like the media sometimes wants it to be, they consider themselves patriots resisting a foreign occupation.

Name: Anonymous 2006-08-05 9:33

I wish Democrats were not so stupid, then the US population would not be forced to keep on electing Republicans.

Name: Anonymous 2006-08-05 10:18

>>26 sets new lows.

You don't have to vote Republican, you know? As amazing as it may seem, there are other parties out there! I know! Unbelieveable!

Or are you one of those people who worry about the dreaded billy clintons and them socialist liberals so you'd better vote extra safe now?

A two-party system wouldn't exist if people didn't keep voting them back, even despite the way the system is set up.

Name: Anonymous 2006-08-05 10:19

Same here.  The democrats are generally more favorable due to their stand on gay rights, the right to privacy, etc, but they have a few issues (such as gun control & abortion) that will make me vote republican instead.  Hell, I could settle for a pro-gun democrat, if he was the real deal, and solidly pro-gun.

As it stands, however, I don't see another option.  The dems just have to be told that their stand on guns/self-defense rights is intolerable.

Solution is to vote libertarians.

Name: Anonymous 2006-08-05 12:13

>>29
My vote hardly counts, I will vote of course because of my collective duty, but what is more important is to get the US population to vote libertarian.

Name: Anonymous 2006-08-07 23:35

>>30
Very little.  The libertarians are the only reasonable solution (at this point) to the ever increasing size of the government, and to the preservation and protection of what is left of our national sovereignty.

Name: Anonymous 2006-08-08 11:06

You do know that the two-party system is screwing up USA?

Name: Anonymous 2006-08-08 13:29

>>31
>>32
Assuming you two are the same, the two party system is not the cause. Since the two parties have so much power, the US is turning into a mass-oligarchy, with different political groups trying to gain favour with the 2 parties and the parties judging which combination of political groups they should support to get more popular support. This usually occurs when democracies get very large with diverse opinions and small government does not matter. The solution is to have a central government elections and state elections, in which the states have individual parties per state which MAY only be connected to central government parties in name only. The result is national unity without a coalition of local governments fragmenting central government.

Name: Anonymous 2006-08-09 21:20

>>33
And vote libertarian for centrla government?

Don't change these.
