"They look quite ominous"

Pretty funny stuff.

It's funny, but serious as well.  It reveals the nature of gun control... pointless harassment of a handful of law abiding citizens for the sake of a few politicians who want to appease a bunch of security fetishist soccer moms who find liberty "offensive".

That's only part of the real nature of gun control, and it's one of the less important aspects, though it is annoying.

OH YES, LET'S HAVE FULLY ARMED AUTOMATICS IN OUR HOUSES SO WHENEVER WE LOSE OUR TEMPERS WE CAN SETTLE IT WITH A BULLET.

I don't think that happens all the time in America.

lol? Those guns aren't automatics.

Real automatics, on the other hand, have been legal for quite a long time, and I don't remember any major incidents of mass slaughter in this timeframe.

I love how people who advocate gun control don't know anything about guns, it's pretty funny.

That's a huge understatement.  Gun violence in general is dwarfed easilly by the massive number of defensive uses of firearms in the USA, the vast majority of which don't involve actually shooting (and hitting) anyone.  In fact, many criminals are driven off once they simply know you are armed, and just run away.

I believe the Clinton Justice Department had stated that the annual number is around 2 million defensive uses of firearms each year.

Exactly. Also, wasn't the place where people are most likely to become victims of violent crimes somewhere in England, a country with very tight gun control?

Yeah.

Not to mention that most of US crimes(gun and otherwise) occur on  areas with heavy gun control. Blame poverty and cities where thousands of different people are put in too small and dense areas. Guns aren't really problem in countryside even though all the "evil rednecks" live there...

Exactly, and nobody is forcing you to walk through shitty neighborhoods at night, or in general, do stupid things that put yourself at high risk for getting shot... seriously.

Getting by in a free society involves the usage of something some people don't seem to be familiar with:  common sense.

Don't change these.
