Racism on the Internet

I was in a counterstrike server the other day... and it had listed in the rules "no racism."

As I look through the list of players, I notice typical stupid names... and then I notice one that read something like this: 

~{aZn}-=PriDe=-~

A while later, another person joined whose name read something like this: 

~VieT-Pride~

So, heck, I decided I'd make one of my own: 

-=White_Pride=-


Seeing my new, changed name, the admin got all testy, and requested that I change my name back, and slayed me once.

Does anyone else see the stupidity in all this?

You can make azn-pride, viet-pride, black-pride, mexican-pride, hell, anything but WHITE-pride, and that's just dandy.  But the moment you make a name like WHITE-pride, you are a racist!

I think having pride for being born something or somewhere is illogical. You should be proud for being selfless, giving to charity and helping out, things that you actually decided to do out of moral conscience.

I know this christian white boy who runs a charity and spends most of his time persuading inner city youths to see crime and drugs for what they are and to see education and self-determination as a means of success. Apparently he has been to hospital 8 times due to assaults made on him as he focusses on crime ridden areas, but none of this has stopped him and he never talks about pride.

Then there are hoardes of black guys in prison feeling sorry for themselves and yelling thought stopping cliches like "BLACK POWER" and "BLACK PRIDE" and believing that they are somehow helping the same youths that the white boy actually goes out and helps.

Then you have KKK mutts running around going "we should be able to say white pride too!". I say that's hypocritical, they are acting exactly like the bad black people they try to claim represent all black people.

That tells me a lot about people who want to feel proud about doing something, they know they're assholes and since they are assholes they have no problem believing in bullshit that makes them feel better about themselves. They have no reason to be proud of anything, they are disgusting horrible people and the only way they can deserve to feel legitimately proud is if they change.
