Racism on the Internet

Name: Anonymous 2006-06-27 0:06

I was in a counterstrike server the other day... and it had listed in the rules "no racism."

As I look through the list of players, I notice typical stupid names... and then I notice one that read something like this:

~{aZn}-=PriDe=-~

A while later, another person joined whose name read something like this:

~VieT-Pride~

So, heck, I decided I'd make one of my own:

-=White_Pride=-

Seeing my new, changed name, the admin got all testy, and requested that I change my name back, and slayed me once.

Does anyone else see the stupidity in all this?

You can make azn-pride, viet-pride, black-pride, mexican-pride, hell, anything but WHITE-pride, and that's just dandy.  But the moment you make a name like WHITE-pride, you are a racist!

Let me put this is plain english.

You're using the word "differences" as a place holder for "flaws" or "inferiorities". These percieved flaws or inferiorities suspiciously favor the race that have been known to habitally undermind the potential of other races. These percieved flaws or inferiorities have never been proven to be naturally occuring within any race, but instead more reasonable evidence points to culture. (Environment)

Arguing solely for nature at any point is a complete disregard for what we've already gleaned from science- that nature and nurture work in concert to form a complete person.
