You are just saying that because it is other people's money you want to spend, not just your own. In capitalism, if you want to support those kinds of things through voluntary charity, you can do that--with YOUR money. If other people want to, they can... with THEIR money. Why should this issue be brought to the government? Since when was capitalism and property rights an issue in the United States? What about rights to life, liberty, and property?
