Anarchy and communism? LOL  One situation is no government whatsoever, the other is the most absolute form of government.  I think someone is misinformed.  Anarchy would be a far superior form of government to communism from an individual's perspective.  Collectivism sucks.  Humans aren't insects, we don't have hive minds.

There aren't any major countries with functional pure communism economies.  Russia & China both became capitalist economies.  Communist economies don't work in practice because it fails to reward individual effort and achievement.  There is no point in working when the government will feed & cloth you for doing nothing.

Russia is purely capitalistic. China has kinda communistic economy, but it's ruled by nationalistic and capitalistic elite abusing it. It's like in old times. People exists only to make money and stuff to emperor and friends.

actually russia still has communistic tendencies. for instance many apartments are officially set at a price determined by the government.

Yes, actually, government setting prices on commodities, services, or business dealings within an economy is something akin to communism.  Whenever the government runs an economy, or for that matter plays a role in it, you approach communism/socialism. 

In capitalism, the government would have no say, and it would only be up to voluntary deals made among private individuals, period.
