I don't know shit about the gun world, to be honest.  Nonetheless, whether or not something is bad for people, it's their choice to use it or not, period. 

It doesn't matter what firearms, or freedoms the ban took.  It was morally wrong from the beginning, IMO. 

If something was really "bad" for recreational shooters, they could always stop using it.
