>>1 so we have less population per square mile in the us.. so what?? even is you count onlin inhabitable sq miles(not desert etc.) so what. are you saying we should have a higher population for how much land we have to be fair to the rest of the world. we behave the way we do with transportation etc because we are spread out. and part of the nature of that is we have become accustomed to being spread out and don't like to be crammed into little cities. it's our style. we can afford it. if china had our population they would probably have a fraction of the economic problems they have now. our high resorces to population ratio is why are economy does so well. how when we have failures we tend to recover well. we don't all use public transportation because we have enough roads we don't have an abolute need. if everyone in china had a car the problems would be astronomical true. however america isn't china. our nation is built on those that came before hand just as there's is built by those that came before them. but our situations are totally different. It is asia's fault asia has it's population. america didn't go over there, fuck everything in site and leave the entire population pregnant every year. they are fuking and having children and causing their population problems, not us. are you an american. do you ride the bus every day. to you own a vehicle. do you spend money on luctury goods such as tv. you have a fucking computer and you are telling us not to be greedy, the last i checked a pc was luctury. why don't you take the money you spent on that and feed some homeless guy for a few months. that will give you the warm fuzzy feeling that you get from this without us haveing to listen to you bitch. get used to the way our nation is, because it won't change unless it needs to, and it doesn't need to any time soon. when we run out of oil we will switch to a new mode of power. you really think the oil companies plan on going out of business when the oil runs out. you think the car companies plan on no longer making cars when oil runs out. you think our entire economy from electric, heating, cooling, transportation companies, etc plan on going out of business when oil runs out. do you plan on rolling over and dieing when oil runs out. do you plan to simply cease to exist. no life will go on, and we will get on with our insugnifficant lives just like everyone else has whenever things have happened thoughout history. If you really want the reality of the oil crisis to hit us you have a very siple thing you can do. it is your responsibility and duty to make us stop using oil by making sure that there is no oil left for us to use. take all the money you earn, buy oil, and burn it. stop those damn asshole that can afford suvs from using it. burn it all yourself so they can't have it. that way it will all be gone and they will have to switch to a new fuel all the sooner. and you can make sure to burn it all in low smog vehicles too, so as you limit the amount of damage you do to the atmosphere. Just shut the fuck up and leave the lifestyle that i live and can afford alone.
