The US is not very dense

Name: Anonymous 2006-05-30 16:51

Many countries make use of space by cramming people into buildings, subways, public transportation, small apartments, skyscrapers, trains, tiny automobiles, etc.  Yet the US continues to take up more space per person rather than more persons per space.  SUVs and personal vehicles over buses and subways. Apartment buildings, homes, offices and condos that are built short and take more space per unit.  Roads and utilities that stretch for miles.  Huge space between buildings dedicated to parking lots and lawns, or just unused land left to be paved over in the future.  If it were Asia, everything would be like New York.

You don't need to have many children when you are letting in more immigrants. Look, white population around the world has been decreasing, much like the Japanese population, because they have gotten so civilized that everybody wants to have a quality life for their children, so they only have a few. Some are preoccupied with our culture of self-indulgence, so they have absolutely none. Our 'regional population' increasing has to do with non-natives. It has to do with 11 million immigrants coming over illegally, and millions more coming over legally over the years. Bush wants to bring in over a 100 million (from Mexico) over the next 20 years with the legislation he's proposing, or so I've been told.

That also means that white people are going to be a minority in the U.S. by then, and since white people will be a minority in the UK by 2100, we'll be the first people to not fight back against our own genocide.
