If genetically engineering humans became accepted and practical there no limit to what could be accomplished.  Virtually all diseases could be cured, and birth defects like homosexuality and blackness could be gotten rid of as well.

Why does it need effort? Surely you should only interact socially if it benefits you and not be someone's bitch so that they don't make you look unpopular.
