MMORPGs = Natural Selection

Is stupidity a requirement to find enjoyment and become addicted to these things?

Everyday another worker bee who fails too miserably at reality becomes addicted to one. And it's like natures way of saying. Well, it's time to throw away your previous life and gain 70 lbs.

How does a subscription paid for by a large number of teenagers and adults towards one single company affect the economy?  It's already happened in China and Korea with Lineage, etc.. and here with Wow

I think I might like them if I enjoyed dealing with people. Can't they teach you social skills? An egoshooter habit trains your hunting skills, which even though more challanging, might be more useless.

Maybe if mmorpgs didn't suck so much, they wouldn't be looked upon so negatively. In their current state, they're no more then a jrpg where the entire game is building a character the developer chooses for you, and it's tacked on with multiplayer. And the only content is the most abysmal combat known to pc games.

Mmorpg is just trumped up mirc, you don't type things to yourself and you don't play mmporgs by yourself.
