Christianity, Islam and Judism are basically the same thing. They're all the religion of peoples that came out of Africa into the middle east. (Semites) The only people who ever got close to getting religion right were those that stayed closest to the "traditional" way of looking at spirituality (which is what I'm assuming the very, very ancient Africans way- East Indians, Indians, Greeks) or strayed far, FAR away from it (Buddists, Shintism).

I think the reason is that what is percieved as a progress towards monotheism is actually retrogression. Man, discovered 1 God first and then made a connection to the other ideals of God second.
