What is it about Muslim nations and peoples hating Christians in general so much?
Muslims accept Christ as a prophet, but Muhammad was the LAST prophet, so he deserves more attention and stuff, so it can't just be the Christ-following aspect.
Is it just that they associate Christians with the western world? Or maybe still just something passed down ever since the Crusades?

According to them God gave his message to Jews and Christians, but it was Jews and Christians fault for interpreting it incorrectly. If God is infallible and omniscient, why would he allow that to happen to such a large number of people on Earth?
The same applies to Mormons. Joseph Smith was the only one to "get it right" while all other denominations are wrong.

Basically Mohammed got pissed when the Jews didn't all accept his great new ideas, and at that point he changed the most holy site from Jerusalem to Mecca, and decided that killing Jews and infidels was a good idea.
