A Letter

Dear George,

At last, I'm able to congratulate you on passage of the Patriot Act. The few times I've tried, I've become so choked up with tears of joy I couldn't see the keyboard. At last, I can say: Yes! Yes! Yes! What a wonderful day for America, and kudos to all the wimped-out Democrats who made its passage possible. Their lack of confidence will triangulate our nation straight into an autocracy.

What a crew you've assembled! Your legal pimps are gangbanging Justice with such finesse that her blindfold remains in place making it impossible to know who is double dorking her as she clings to her shattered scales. To our forefathers, Justice was a goddess; to your minions, she a 'ho ready to be sold to the nearest special interest.

Once again, you have struck a blow against the decency and morality that is so intolerable to the arrested adolescents who are your couturiers.

The funny thing is, Bush would probably read this and not be able to tell whether it's praising or bashing him.

Funny thing is, they're passing laws like that in the EU all the time. And nobody even cares, LOL.

The trick is to make the people feel that without this kind of Kremlin style loss of personal privacy, they will be not be safe from terrorism. The messed up part for the american ones is that Bush does not divulge the full depth and scope of the proposal to the country or even all the members of cabinet. He doesnt need all of their approvals anyway. He has friends in high places for that. Then he signs it and bingo bango.FUCKED!!

Last I heard, EU has far better privacy laws than anywhere else.

Not being there ATM, I'd be curious if you'd provide links about this.

Don't change these.
