The humanity

If you could eliminate 90% of all war, disease, starvation, pollution, and other problems, and allowed human population to increase unhindered until the world was over 10-12 billion people, would you?  Would it be worth it, knowing that there is potential for even greater loss of life from mass starvation, disease, lack of resources, or war on a much larger scale?

Humans are intelligent, they don't overpopulate and force themselves into rationning their food and starving in famines every time the climate fluctuates, they cull their own population so they don't have to suffer.
