Global Warming is Good

So, the Earth is warming up. Whether this is by the natural cycle of the Earth, the sun getting hotter, or by human actions, is not the topic of debate here. But... might global warming actually be good for humanity? Consider this...

The earth warms up, the ice caps melt a bit. Ok, so the oceans rise a bit, BUT... Since there's more water in the oceans, more water will evaporate into the atmosphere. The water content of the earth's atmosphere will be bigger. Arrid, hot and dry places that can't easily grow their own food will get a lot more rain, and thereby can grow more food. Global hunger and poverty ends. Bam. And, since there's more cloud cover, it will begin to cool down some more after a bit.

Just a thought... My physics might be absolutely completely off here, maybe not.

A surplus of water would upset the entire ecology of the world, covering the continents in water, leaving scavengers on the ocean surface who must fight pirates on jet skis and search for Dry Land.

Lol man, you're indeed complately off. That won't produce more rain; in fact, the higher temperatures will make all things worse. Ever noticed how how desserts are? Some of which end in the coast, there's the sea near them, and they're still a dessert. That's going to happen if the ice melts, besides destroyed ecosystems will fuck up just about everything else. You can't imagine how fragile the balance is. Cut "a few trees" for a quick American redneck route 66 gas station buck, and you'll lose trillions in the long run.

Oh those poor animals in fragile ecosystems. Sorry to burst your bubble but evolution has claimed countless numbers already. Climate change has happened before and it wasn't the end of the world then; it isn't going to be the end of the world now.
