Bush Lied, People Died?

Give me an effing break. The only lie George W. Bush ever told the people of this country was when he took the oath to uphold the Constitution of this country... Well, that was actually more of a broken promise, really.

You idiot democrats and liberals out there, I want to hear ONE LIE that Bush *intentionally told* to mislead the people about the war in Iraq... Just one! Nobody's been able to give a straightforward answer yet. I want to see quotes and sources...

He's not my favorite president in this country's history, but I'm tired of these people trying to make this war, which needs to be won, fail. Do you think he's lying because *you* think he lied? Or do you think he lied because the media keeps showing you politicians screaming it over and over?

The fact that this thread exists really saddens me. There's no need for primary sources, leaked documents and investigations, none of that will change your stifled viewpoint of history.

Just think back to the beginning of the war, you fucking sheep, think back to how afraid you were of Iraq's nuclear weapons, how the message that we were going to be nuked any day now was bashed into our heads by the media. It's not about what happened, it's about how it happened.

The United States was told that Iraq had nuclear weapons, and that the only way to stop Iraq from using them was to invade the country. Did Bush say that we were going there to get Iraqis to vote? To take the masks off women? To teach little boys how to read? Hah, you think America would have fallen for that bullshit? Half the world lives under the conditions Iraq lived under, would we have invaded those countries too?

The United States population invaded Iraq under the notion that they had nuclear weapons and that by invading them we were protecting ourselves. If your memory is that flawed, and you've been that much re-wired by the media, then there's nothing anyone can do for you, and I'm sorry.
