"EU leaders issued a strong condemnation of the Iranian President's remarks, stating that '[c]alls for violence, and for the destruction of any state, are manifestly inconsistent with any claim to be a mature and responsible member of the international community.'"

"In Iran, supporters of Ahmadinejad's comments have stated that there is nothing new about his statements and that the West has overreacted in order to try to smear Iran's image"

What's hilarious is that guy's past.
I suspect he'll never leave Iran, because he's afraid what will happen. He once killed a few diplomats (long before he became president).

Eh, he's letting his true side leak out. I do hope he tries to attack Israel so I can make some popcorn, plop down on the couch, and watch Israel pwn them in another 6 Day War.

truly civilized countries aren't allowed to ever have any enemies, or differences of opinion with each other. everyone should get along nice and happy-like, and the world should be full of marshmallows and magical fairy people.

Iran doesn't like Israel. this is a sentiment shared by many muslims, because they consider Israel to be an illegal country stolen from Palestine. it's natural that they want it gone.
