In 2050 Hispanics will be the majority in US?

I've read a couple of predictions in yahoo news stories that they expect hispanics to be the marjority in the US in aproximately 2050.

Could this be true?

How would it affect the US culture?

Is the upper class (Bush, etc) doing a cut and burn (spending everything and taking everything that isn't nailed down) in preparation for this?

Venezuela is just another version of Russia/USSR. Look at the history of that country. Exactly analogous to Russian history since Peter the Great. We shouldn't blame the Mexicans. We should blame the Mexican government.
