Hello there anonymous, as some of you know, Presidential elections will be being held on Mexico this coming Sunday. What you don't know is that an oppressive and corrupt political party will return to power.
Even though Mexico claims to be a democracy, it has actually been a corrupt country for the last century. Where Presidential elections have been rigged(with the most recent examples occurring in 1988 and 2006), where the television duopoly censors anything against their interest and send biased messages through their news broadcasts, where millions of people are kept in ignorance in order to give them a false sense of security.
It is a country were organized crime and politicians are one.
I will be turning 18 this Thursday, which meant I could have voted on Sunday, but I've been living in the U.S. since 2001, and only recently did I became interested in the political situation in my country. I did this by reading history articles, as well as watching documentaries. Needless to say, I am outraged at the fact that this Sunday, my country is going to start to walk down the path of another bloody revolution.
Now I would have probably voted for the candidate of the left, Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador, who lost the election of 2006 under very suspicious circumstances, but seeing how my country is controlled, he will probably be assassinated if he wins, or more likely, he will loose the election via electoral fraud.
Now the candidate who is going to win, because the country's oligarchy has been preparing him as his puppet, this man is Enrique Pena Nieto, a stupid man, who at the time of the events I want you to see, was gorvernor of the state of Mexico, were a terrible crime was committed against the people of Mexico in 2006 in the Municipality of San Manuel de Atenco
