Srsly; All of mainstream media has conditioned the sheeple to knee-jerk associate the words "holocaust didn't happen" with Nazi apologetics, and so therefore Nazis.

And so we the peolpe (yes, for the longest time, even me!) have been trained to actively shy away from ever thinking that it could be "the one crime the evil scumbag didn't actually do, but he's still evil".

Not to mention what the underlying …logic actually means. "Holocaust didn't (really) happen" equals "Nazis weren't evil"? Hey, that would mean:
- burning books for having the "wrong" content, isn't evil? The Nazis did this. So did the Church, during the previous centuries. This helped keep the dark ages dark (and long).
- censorship isn't evil? Show me one evil dictatorship that doesn't (didn't) censorship news and info! Really, show me _one_!
- the concept of "degenerate art" isn't evil? This was, after all, one of the key duties of the NSDAP, to "purify" German culture as well as race.
- the Chrystal Night wasn't evil?
- stuffing dissidents into concentration camps isn't evil?

FYI:
- I've yet to hear a revisionist deny any of the pre-war activities of the Nazis. Or even the concentration camps. Only that they were purposely death camps.
- The Nazis didn't seem to have much of a unified art policy, beyond that what certain NSDAP top brass didn't like, was "degenerate" and had to be harassed into non-existence.
- While the Nazis were kinda alone in using the _name_ "degenerate art", they were hardly alone in having the policy. Srsly, look at Rock&Roll (1950s, 1980s; "Satan's music"), cartoons (1950s; "seditious stuff"), hacking (1980s-; "omfg they're gonna destroy our computers and bring down civilisation"), filesharing (2000s; "stealing from those poor artists"), Anonymous ("hackers on steroids")…

Tl;dr: The Holocaust is the only thing (we're told) the Nazis did, that isn't done by others, especially the Allies. That's one reason it's so important to keep people believing in it.

As for how many, I found "One third of the holocaust" an interesting watch. Last I saw, it's still on YouTube.

We will never know because it's forbidden to investigate holocaust, and we keep electing jews, and white ethnicities have the lowest birth rate and highest immigration, so we will disappear from the planet without knowing, but i think it's true, i saw it in the shindler's list.

What the Allied soldiers saw, was the concentration camps. They were _then_ told that those camps been used specifically as death camps. (protip: there's a difference)

Not much evidence in itself; it's like someone says "this is the murder site" and then shows you an empty house, with no further evidence. That's something way different than "seeing [the murder] first hand and up close" (which, FYI, means "being a first-hand witness", as described in >>26).
This is not "twisting the words", it's "actually fkin _reading_ the sentence".

The question is not "why do people still believe in the Holocaust?"  The mass murders by the National Socialist regime in Germany were well documented.  Mass graves were found, and so fucking what?  Woe to the vanquished.  The victors write history, and anyone who believes any of the "evidence" presented at the Stalin-style show-trials of the German military leadership needs his head examined.

If the holocaust is true, why exists laws to punish people who want to study it or deny it? Why we need "law" for this? I'm a brazilian, and in 1980-1990 the Brazilian National Socialist Party (PNSB) here grew as fuck, just after the end of the dictatorship here, when democracy retook the power.

The jews came here and convinced our government to create a new law against the deniers of the holocaust and to the ones who only wants to study it. And now we cannot even talk about it. Frequently ignored facts:
- Stand trial for one murder, and the court basically says «Proof or it didn't happen».
- Stand trial for six million murders, and the anyone that now demands evidence, gets to be jailed for «racism».

And the proof that the prosecution is presenting, is even sketchier than the stuff we saw after 9/11.
FYI: Revisionists don't deny the camps were there, they're asking for proof of what actually happened in them.
