My thoughts on the London Riots

Name: Anonymous 2011-08-12 18:28

It started off when Police killed a man by the name of Mark Duggan. Family and friends demanded information about the death of Mark and during the protests, participants in the crowd became aggressive and sparked violence. Buildings were set on fire and many people have gotten injured and even killed.

Now people are using it as an excuse to go out and be completely stupid. On the day the riots started word spread through social media like twitter and Facebook to encourage violence. People have also been able to coordinate clean up operations to stop the riots and prevent any more people from getting hurt. People have even been sending video and pictures of rioters to help identify every individual that has committed a crime. We have incredible power as a whole but we have to use it for the right reasons and the better of all.

Teenagers in the Middle East protest for Freedom and Peace while the teenagers in London riot just because everyone else is doing. Instead of working together it’s every man for himself! How fucking ignorant does one have to be to protest a death with violence?

How do we make things better? Many different ways. Realizing the problem is the first step. Join #OperationCupOfTea were everyone is encouraged to have a cup of tea during the troubles times. Stand up, let your voice be heard and share what you believe in. Stand up against injustice, for freedom, liberty, and peace. Unite and be vigilant! Then listen to a song and have some laughs. http://youtu.be/gKVNI9jeFK4

Masterminded by rich people, no doubt, doing what they want.

We should do what we want, fella

Do what you want, but this isn't exactly telling you what to do is it? Not like it's telling you how to live. >.>

Yeah, those are 'your thoughts' alright.  I've only heard them six hundred times on every news report.  You're so cool.

It's a symptom of our take-all society.
