She's still Governor until July 26th, then she steps down. The Lieutenant Governor Sean Parnell is suppose to run the rest of her term and is planning an election next year. He seems to know how to run a state better than Palin ever could. In fact, a polar bear could probably run Alaska better than Palin ever could.

Alaska pretty much runs itself anyway. The governor barely has to do anything. They don't even have to worry about taxes and budgets because the oil and natural gas revenue deals with that.
