This is my first time on the Text boards, prior to the politics board, but the rampant off subjects of news and other matters in the text boards, as well the recent ad spamming over other thread. I just hope these will be closely moderated as time goes on

Thats not really true. :) Every section has its order in the image boards, /b/ is ordered as random. If it was chaos then every section would never be needed as it has shown recently that every board can be forced /b/.
