The government, being stupid as it usually is, decided to close all but one lane in each direction because someone apparently wanted to see how many cars it could hold. The answer was apparently hundreds, completely bumper to bumper, but nobody finished counting before part of the bridge wound up IN the ole Mississippi rather than OVER it.
It's been noted that such a thing was only a matter of time, since Americans were great about building such things in the past, but as time went on, a certain gayfaggotry known as Hypercapitalism determined that maintenance would be more and more 'deferred' (i.e. not fucking performed) ... until some catastrophe happened. Well, the catastrophe has finally happened. I'm sure the Great Jewish Mind Controller (i.e. mainstream media) is working hard to stop any link between this event and any consideration of how we've deferred maintenance on too many bridges and tunnels.
Look forward to another serious bridge or tunnel collapse within 4 years. Hopefully, the dumber of you all will be some of the victims. Your government collects taxes from your stupid asses and then spends the proceeds on lots of fuckshit that has nothing to do with keeping the roads maintained, the water and electricity flowing, and the cops and firemen on the streets. You tolerate this misappropriation of funds. So, die under tons of concrete. Please.
I'm not European, chanfag. I know it's hard to understand that a fellow American could feel the way I've expressed, since you live a life 100% drenched in corporate propaganda. You just need some re-education, and that can largely be achieved by simply turning OFF your television and in interacting with real people for a change.

Right wing media has been screaming about it for years. Maintenance isn't done, but making new ones always is. Why? Because keeping it up is seen as a pain in the ass of the voters, but making a new one is seen as "doing something" for the voters.
