Ban Ki-moon sworn in as UN chief

Name: Anonymous 2006-12-14 19:32

South Korea's Ban Ki-moon has been sworn in as the next UN secretary general at a ceremony in New York.

Mr Ban, from South Korea, will take up his post as the eighth secretary general on 1 January, 2007.

He told ambassadors he would be a "bridge-builder", leading by example as he sought to restore trust in a UN that needed to be "dynamic and courageous".

Will this guy be more effective than Annan? And just what is the point of the UN any more?

The UN is there to create a New World Order based on the socialist slavery of the White American Male.

Have you not got the flyer?

The UN is a broken institution.  I couldn't even begin to illustrate everything that makes it not work, but I personally feel the veto system is an enormous problem.  It is ridiculous and shameful to display the United Nations as some great democratic institution when it is really merely the plaything of the five countries with veto power.

They can't give the nigger countries too much power.

Don't change these.
