New Kind of Cement Reinforcing Material Developed in DPRK

Pyongyang, May 25 (KCNA) -- Plastic fiber, a new kind of cement reinforcing material, has been developed in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea. It is used in making quality roofing slates and ceiling boards of dwelling houses and public buildings, pipes and other building materials in proper combination with cement. The fiber is made with the help of latest fiber processing technology.
    As its surface is very rough and has many prickles according to the microscopic examination, the plastic fiber ensures powerful adhesion with cement solution. Therefore, the plastic fiber building materials are good in quality and have a long serviceable life.
    In addition, the production cost of the plastic fiber building materials is nearly 50 per cent lower than that of other ones.
    Ho Ho Yong, a section chief of the DPRK General Bureau of Invention, told KCNA that according to the survey of international inventions and industrial patents, the plastic fiber processing technology is superior to others not only in the economic aspect but in technical features.

U.S. Arrogance Ignoring UN under Fire

Pyongyang, May 25 (KCNA) -- The U.S. arbitrary and self-opinionated action of shaking its stick and dictating at the UN has gone beyond the limit. With nothing can the U.S. justify its action of ignoring the UN and take its place. Rodong Sinmun says this in a signed article Thursday.
    It is the U.S. attitude toward the UN to use it as a tool for carrying out its purpose of aggression, a stage for establishing an order of hegemonic domination over the world, the article notes, and observes:
    Typical examples of disregarding the UN are the U.S. imperialists' invasion of Iraq, their moves to pressurize Iran over the nuclear issue and their intensified policy of military occupation of south Korea.
    The U.S. arrogant act of ignoring the UN is exerting a great influence on world peace and human civilization.
    Owing to the U.S. arrogance the major principles of international relations including the UN Charter, international law, international justice and impartiality have been violated and the world plunged into confusion and disorder.
    For the U.S. to ignore the UN is as good as ignoring the world and debasing and rejecting humankind.
    In order to prevent the U.S. highhanded and arbitrary practices and establish a new fair international order in the international arena, all the countries including the UN member nations should resolutely fight against the U.S. policy of aggression, the policy of ignoring the UN. And they should enhance the authority and role of the UN as required by the new century so that the U.S. may not act at its own discretion.
    Those who turn their back on the people and block the trend of the times are bound to face international isolation and ruin. The U.S. is now in such a position. It had better understand its plight clearly and stop committing such criminal acts as ignoring the UN and resorting to highhanded and arbitrary practices.

"Korean Nation First" spirit powerful in DPRK

Pyongyang, May 26 (KCNA) -- The Korean nation-first spirit is a powerful driving force pushing forward the June 15 era of reunification as it is the idea and sentiment reflecting the unanimous desire and will of the fellow countrymen to demonstrate all over the world the dignity and might of the Korean nation which has five thousand-year-long history, fine culture and proud traditions. Rodong Sinmun says this in a signed article Friday.
    It goes on:
    It is the firm will and faith of leader Kim Jong Il to defend the sovereignty of the country and the nation, achieve independent reunification and demonstrate the dignity of Kim Il Sung's nation all over the world under the banner of the Korean nation-first spirit.
    Only when the fellow countrymen struggle in unity in the spirit of national independence and patriotism with will to defend more precious national independence than life and pave the wide avenue for reunification and independence, can they meet the outrageous challenge of the aggression forces and demonstrate the dignity and honor of a homogeneous nation.
    The Korean nation-first spirit serves as a firm ideological foundation of the struggle to establish national sovereignty, source of nationality, banner of defending the nation and treasure sword of peace and reunification.
    Today when the movement for independent reunification is being accelerated, attitude toward the Korean nation-first spirit is a touchstone distinguishing between patriotism and treachery, between reunification and division and between independence and subordination. All the fellow countrymen should turn out in the nation-wide struggle with their determination and will to make a more contribution to the cause of peaceful reunification on which the destiny and future of the nation rest. Poem "Great Integral Whole" Published in Russia [Now with commentaries!]

Pyongyang, May 28 (KCNA) -- A poem "Great Integral Whole" was published by Vladimir Grebtsev, commentator of the newspaper Patriot. The poem says that leader Kim Jong Il born as the son of Mt. Paektu has successfully carried forward the sacred cause of President Kim Il Sung.
    The DPRK will surely overcome all sorts of obstacles and bring about fruits of happiness as its people and leader have formed an integral whole, it stresses.

As a side note, Kim Jong-il wasn't born on Mt. Paektu. In reality he was born in some shitty ass village in the middle of nothing in Siberia back when his father (Kim Il-sung) was a loser. Don't believe everything they tell you.
