Japan to ban H-Games, Tentacle Rape

Akiba, Tokyo - in an effort to curb Japan's declining population, Japanese officials are considering a ban on all pornographic games, dating simulations, and all pornography involving non-humans.

Kenji Kosaka, Japan's Minister of Culture, made this annoucement during a Friday morning press conference, stating "Drastic measures need to be taken to curb Japan's falling population. Our birth rate by population is much lower than that of other countries, and we believe much of this is attributed to the sale and use of fantasy and pornographic games."

Japan, currently facing a declining population and an aging working class, is forecasted to have its population drop from 127 million to 89 million by 2050. Japan's birth rate is staggeringly low compared to other developed countries, a blame which some government officials have placed on its penchant for pornography, particulary "dating sims" and "H-games".

"These games are driving away our young male population from finding real female interaction," said Higashi Amuro, a local bar owner who has seen his patronage decline after several H-game stores opened around his area, "they promote isolation and distort the view of what is attractive. Many of these people who play H-games get their satisfaction from playing - they are no longer motivated to go outside and date. They stop exercising, their personal hygiene falls, and when they finally come back here the female patrons are less interested in them. Something must be done if Japan is to have a future with its next generation."

Many Japanese animation videos, often called "harem series", focus on a weak male lead surrounded by many attractive women. Animation directors do this so the viewers, mostly male, can easily put themselves in the role of the person all the women desire. In H-games, the role of the male is not developed at all, leaving many Japanese males with a poor concept of self-image.

In an international study done by the University of Chicago spanning 29 countries, those polled in Japan gave the lowest sexual satisfaction rate - 27.5 percent, compared with 64.2 percent in the United States, and the highest, 71.4 percent in Austria. Much of this was blamed on Japan's bizzare sexual preferences, particularly it's focus on rape, child pornography, overt beastiality, and phallic tentacles.

And a declining population is bad...how? If we all focus on making people want to reproduce, the earth's gonna run out of room.
