So I was watching Primetime the other say and the topic was the 10 most common myths people believe that are not true. Among these were:

There's more forests in the world now than there was 80 years ago, and the only difference is that most of the forests there are today are man made instead of natural. They even said there's two acres of forestland for every person in the world, to be exact.

They also said that the world is not getting too full of people. In fact, you could fit all the people of the world in Texas.

And that there is enough food for everyone in the world, because new technology has allowed to grow more food in less space and the only reason  that people starve to death, like in Africa for instance, is because their government or civil wars interfere with the food delivering process.

I'm still kind of skeptical about this and I'm thinking it was just another
show in which they don't tell you all the facts.

You know how shitty man-made forests are? All the trees in horizontal and vertical rows and safe for any tourist to wander in. Maybe you see a little squirrel here or there. When people walk through the forest, why the trees move to make way for them. So foresty.

First is half right but the other two are completely true despite what apocalyptic-happy neocon commie fucks will tell you.
man made forests work if they're being farmed for whatever reason, but as a real forest? Not enough bio-diversity, so it fails.

Africa is a continent run mostly by a collection of dictators, with a few warlords thrown in here and there.  The biggest problem with government-financed aid is that most of it goes to the governments and their dictators, and very little of it goes to their intended recipients.  To get aid to the people there, it has to be almost literally smuggled in.

Actually, the biggest myths, believed more by the traditional American media than anyone else, are 1) that the tradidional media still has a monopoly on the news and 2) that most Americans still blindly believe their "analyses" of the news.

Food production is industrialized and needs energy. In theory you can have 100 billion people eating away with no problems, but this would require 20 times as much gasoline as we use today. If we had to go back to growing food by hand then we wouldn't be able to feed 5.5 billion people.

When oil gets scarce and population increases to the resources available, then we will have choice. To either continue population growth and subject people to poverty to push resources to their limits, or to control population growth so we don't have to live in poverty.

feeding africa (properly) would cause the population to increase dramatically creating an even worse problem as the resulting population would be dependant on the outside world for food. O WAIT. THAT ALREADY IS HAPPENING.

Before then it was sustained mainly by cattle which isn't a very efficient method of supporting people out of a plot of land. It's quite a bummer that Africa is still left out of everything and can't seem to get with the times.  It's mostly sub-saharan africa that sucks.  All in all though, it's just part of the rollercoaster of civilizations.  Africa had the spot light back when Egypt kicked ass.  Too bad that was when slavery was the shit instead of mass consumerism and the internet.  Hopefully Africa will have fun again someday years down the road when all the colonialistic rape stuff wears off sometime in a century or millenia or two.

I thought you racists would enjoy the fact that Africa is always behind agriculturally. Modern agriculture isn't all that complex, in fact it is almost less complex than agriculture before industrialisation. It only requires a little irrigation and some experimentation with growing, storing and transporting the produce and you can reach the near maximum output for a plot of land. If blacks are less intelligent they can easily utilise this technology, trade and pay for their own agricultural growth. The reason why they are poor is because a lot of the profit is used to keep a few people per thousand in luxury per million rather than used for growth and of course any growth is usually used to increase the population rather than improve conditions.

They are poor because they are fornicating most of the time and wanking the remainder. They are like chimps at the zoo. Lazy shitskin niggers.

South Africa is the only relatively modern country in Africa because (10%/20%?) of the population is white.
Therefore: to be "modern" you need white people.

Actually many blacks were treated well by the colonials. My cousin had a farm in Zimbabwe (Rhodesia). He paid the kaffirs the same as whites and was very generous at Christmas,birthdays, etc. Mugabe's nigger devils burnt him off his farm, killed his dogs, and killed to of the black helpers because they were defending their employed. My cousin managed to escape and took one black with him to SA and then to Austrailia. The kaffirs rape children and animals on a grand scale. They are lower than apes and, other than the honorable ones, do not deserve to live.

The reason why people starve in twc is because of people who try to help. They send over a thousand tons of rice and for a while everything is fine. But because everyone can get free rice for a few months all of the people who used to supply everyone with what they had went out of business... so when all of the rice (or whatever) is gone they have no support!
