Will the world recover from the US regime?

Name: Anonymous 2005-12-18 12:54

I can heartily accept the evils of the past man. Corruption, emprisonment, wars, racism, slavery, rape, no rights, no food- evil. But that was the evil of truth. Hitler said: fuck the Jews. Lenin said: fuck the Capitalists. Caesar and Napolean said: fuck the world. They did these things in order to reach a purpose, by whatever means necessary, and people accepted their side effects.

But these men were up against the world, they did not act as its constable. They did not claim freedom, truth, and human rights. When did democracy become a dirty word? Will rights and freedom continue to be destroyed in their own name?

Is there absolutely any chance of a man having hope of a better future? The United States of America was supposed to be this hope, and it fell through almost immediately as it reached capacity. Is this just the cycle of things? How much worse off are we going to become as Capitalism and technology advances?

Yes, precisely. </sarcasm>

Since you're such a champion of "basic human rights," I presume you have no qualms about the U.S. and allied countries establishing democratic governments in Afghanistan and Iraq? Or do you insist that these actions were "illegal" because they did not sufficiently "respect the world" and its right to make money off the backs of the Iraqi people?
