Japan proposes new authoritarian constitution

Japan's constitution was written by very liberial FDR New-Dealers who started working on it in late 1943.  The changes proposed do not surprise me, but they are disapointing.

I believe the last Democratic ammendment was the Equal Rights Ammendment (ERA).  Note that it expanded rights, not curtailed them.

Japan is Japan they can do whatever.  As for the US Constitution?  Maybe we can sell it to Japan.  After all, we're not using it much anymore.  :)
