this is bad news
//syria + iran announce to the media they will form a 'united front against agressors'
//..timing it the day after a famously pro-west lebanese prime minister('92-'04) was assassinated in massive fashion, syrian state-funded terrorism is suspected, syria maintains 15,000 troops in lebanon.. the us ambassador in syria has been called back
A) did a terrorist faction frame syria at this key moment to force its hand into joining solidarity with iran? -- this would mean that they were unwilling and we are not facing an organized plot.
-or-
B) did syria directly commission the lebanese assasination with knowledge of the upcoming 'united front' media statement it was going to make? -- this would mean that they were very willing and we need to plan for contingencies implied by these actions.
[A) is historically similar to the way alqeada chose 911hijackers, 15of19 saudis to frame saudi arabia against the west, they could have easily chosen 15 equally committed afghanis or pakistanis. bin ladden was mad at the saudis and wanted to hurt their business relationships, besides his random fundamentalist propaganda line about our soldiers in his holy land from the 90s... thats more to recruit willingly-suicidal religious followers than anything else]
//an odd explosion at a nuclear site in iran within days of the lebanon assasination and the syria+iran media statement... the news was discounted by iranian state-funded media as a 'construction accident' near a dam they were building...
//iran is sitting on one of the world's largest natural energy reserves, ie dirt cheap oil, what on earth could they need nuclear reactors for, besides using them to refine materials for weaponry.. and then using those weapons as international leverage in order to continue their one-party 'democracy' instead of holding true elections
A) with knowledge that special ops have been in iran for months.. was this some covert attack by the west or israel? gone bad? or was it sucessful but just played down by iran?
A-2) iranian media outlets are state-controlled.. what is the true extent of the damage, satellite intelligence? --we know iran has learned to place facilities underground from fear of sattelites, learned from the 80s when saddam got his french-built reactors destroyed by israel in one airstrike.. iran is supposedly trying to decentralize their facilities, how can we obtain an accurate status on these facilities? human intelligence? can someone inside be bought? i assume its too late to place our own iranian operatives(though certainly we must have a few already..)
B) what are the connections between this nuclear event in iran to the timing of syrias recent statement(media rattling) and terrorist assassination in lebanon(overt action)... was the 'construction accident' in iran a warning from the west or isreal, because syria backed up iran(at their request) with a large scale symbolic assasination in the most secular arab state, lebanon?
syria is the weaker state, iran is further with nuclear technology... if iran is being watched very carefully, to send a message... they may have contracted out the lebanese assasination to their partner syria who is less watched at the moment, syria has a strong state-funded terrorist arm called 'hezbolla' which it shares with iran
C) or did iran simply have a genuine nuclear accident that it couldn't completely hide from reuters and there is no reason to speculate on motivations of the series of events that have occurred in the past few days?
all i can see is that the middle-east(outside iraq) has been abnormally active this week in particular... is our terror alert about to be raised a notch? i'm sure there must be a lot of 'chatter' surrounding all this activity that we don't get reports about
the past few days must have been quite interesting at middle-east cia listening posts...
such activity often leads to opportunity, we may hear important things when the hornet's nest is stirred up like this
someone somewhere is making mistakes out of panic at this very moment.. we should filter the chatter and find the gold, it may help us greatly(and i assume we are doing so... hi nsa)
