Fates warning, but some of their stuff could be consittered "fantasy", but if you don't like those lyrics or style then don't listen to it. Anyway, if you want trippy listen to the ivory gate of dreams, its not fantasy, its a metophore, and its some damn good music. If you actually end up getting into them i'd like to say that their style of progressive metal changes into pretty much just progressive, not like tool, in terms of progressive metal; idk where these guys got inspired from, they seem to be pretty uneque. But anyway, i wish you luck in exploreing the prog metal genre, and hope you get into fates warning.

YES, King Crimson... Genesis is so good too but for me the best is YES....

I consider earth2 special low frequency version/drone in general to be prog metal.
