Hey. I really have no experience in the world of music, but my favorite bands are Justice, Damien Rice, The Killers, Muse, and Mumford & Sons. I probably sound like a faggot for even mentioning these, but as I said said, I am new to all of this. So anyway, could someone work their magic and give me a list of other bands that I should try out?
Thank you for that advice! Does anyone else have any suggestions?

My advice would be to just lurk the /mu/ forum a little, download some of the music they talk about and see if you like it.
Get a last.fm account and check out other similar artists to what you like. Find out what genre you're interested in the most and just actively search for other artists within that genre.
Easiest way to find other bands is to wait for one of those last.fm threads on /mu/ and go to some of the profiles and sample their music.

You may be interested in some drum & bass as well.
Look up on youtube: Noisia, Phace, Rockwell, Sub Focus, DJ Fresh, Dbridge, Hybris, Enei, Netsky, Mutated Forms
If you like that funky electro vibe from Justice, you may like: MGMT and Chromeo. (I know there's more but I can't think of any more names at the moment.)
For rock like Muse.. maybe try Coheed & Cambria.
I've kinda been out of the loop for other music besides Drum & Bass lately, but if you want to expand your musical tastes, you can listen to Pandora Radio. It takes a band or artist you like, and plays similar artists/genres. You give a thumbs up to expand on that style/artist, or thumbs down and it will find something different for you. It's a good way to discover new artists, instead of just google searching and shit. Good luck!

OP here. Thank you for all the replies! I haven't had a chance to give them a listen yet, but I will soon. I'll have a Pandora/downloadathon soon, so any more suggestons would be fantastic.
