Music suggestions?

I've been using all kinds of things like Pandora, Last.fm and the suggestions my Zune software's been giving me to try and find bands similar to what I like.

Problem is, none of these suggestions seem to be anything like the bands I like.

My absolute favorite is Green Day; I love every single one of their albums save for 21st Century Breakdown.  I also really like The Offspring, Linkin Park and Breaking Benjamin.

All of these different sites and stuff though, always give me these alternative and emo bands that I don't like at all, which are apparently similar to the bands I listed.

I don't like classic rock or older music (I just don't like the voices, instrumentals and how similar a lot of music sounded back then), but I guess you could say I like rock and punk music.

Also, I'll reluctantly admit that my girlfriend introduced me to Muse and I like them.

Check out Tool. I've yet to meet a fan of alternative that doesn't like Tool. 10,000 Days is their most accessible album, though my personal favorite is Lateralus.
