well really old country anything, jimmie rodgers is kind of depressing, johnny cash of course, i like sons of perdition alot, good country is hard to find because of all the main stream shit, just like with just about every other music genre, but country is the worst with it

this stuff is ok. i wish it were a little slower, a lot softer, and more ...doomy.
a good example might be tarentel's "steede bonnet". im looking for a band like godspeed you black emperor with more of a twang.
