Old punk is dirty and overrated.
Current punk is trendy and generic.
Underground punk all sounds the same.

Are there any good punk bands?

punk is about the lyrics, and emo WAS an offspring of hardcore punk, but since then it has gone rogue and shitty. look up rites of spring for real emo.

also, anyone who calls antiflag or green day punk should be shot.
