When will all you bitchtards realize that power metal and FUCKING DragonForce in particular do not constitute good metal. Go look up some of the drunken vomiting that DragonForce calls their concerts. If you're into that stuff just listen to neoclassical, it's all the virtuosity (for real, not Herman Li's "look at me I sound so good in the studio" jizzum) without all the glam, videogame influence and gay-ass mythological bullshit.
As far as I'm concerned, power metal is up there with the image-obsessed, vocally challenged nu-metal bands of the mid 90s who for some reason still have a following even though the suburbanite kids with all that pent up rage because of one too many weekends in which their parents didn't let them use the car have all since dropped out of high school to do coke full time.
To power and nu metal bands: take yourselves and your respective xkcd-reading, programming douchefags/angsty, black baggy sweatshirt-wearing, wallet chain-toting post grunge hiveminds with you back into oblivion so we can all get high and listen to some Sleep, Kyuss and High on Fire and show you how it's done.
