Being on the wrong side of The Loudness War (google it)
Overpricing compact discs
Spending revenue on illegal drugs
Sealing compact discs in plastic wrap that causes paying customers to curse while opening
A second seal on the compact disc case that causes great anger as it tears into pieces (I said fuck about 15 times)
Fragile plastic compact disc cases
Fragile plastic compact disc holder teeth
Producing incomplete or deficient "best of" collections
Anti-copying measures on compact discs that mess with your computer or otherwise limit use

BUMP! Loudness war, I definitely agree on. It's actually starting to really annoy me now. I was listening to the radio in the car the other day with a friend while on the motor way and I couldn't actually hear it properly till it was turned up (and then we wouldn't be able to talk). Switched station and 'Sultans of the swing' came on and I could even turn it down and hear it fine.
I've started to see better cases being used. (also seen some trigger cases which rock but are only used for CD-Rs so far).

If they can't be bothered to follow laws and would rather enrich asshole drug lords and scumbag bikers with my money, then why should I give a shit about copyright violation which enriches no bikers whatsoever

Yes...you need drugs to create good music. Why? Because you, my friend, are not creative...and can't handle that kind of failure.
