he is right though. music written based on feelings, emotions and thoughts. it is based of a certain experience and how you felt before, during and after said experience. but some music is more emotional than others.

I thought emo meant havin' no emotions cause if you see emos around do you see them cryin and getting real emotional over a film or something no that's usually girly girls and some guys and music is about getting all your thoughts and feelings written down into a song of couse it's gonna be emotional but it doesn't mean it's 'emo.' Go listen to teletubies or the wiggles if you don't want an emotional song
