I'd have to say DRAGONFORCE because of their hardcore shredding and soothing yet wicked lyrics. They may sound nerdy but they'll fuck your ass when they rock the fucking house.

I'm not a fan of Metallica, and even though dragonforce is good there not the best for an ultimate rock battle... I'd say that both of them fail.
If you chose dragonforce because of the shredding, go look at Buckethead or Michael Angelo Batio, thats some great shit.
