Looking for some helpful suggestions, or at least as helpful as 4chan can get. I'm trying to put together a playlist as a soundtrack while writing, and I'm looking for a selection of dance, hiphop and ska from the early to mid 80s. Ska isn't so much of a problem, but I know next to nothing about dance music, and very little about rap.
Still on topic but as an aside, I downloaded stuff of the album Duck Rock by Malcolm McLaren, which surprised me by being quite good in spite of the fact that he was a skinny little white pretentious art-school fuckwit who claimed he invented punk.
