I really liked their first album because of their cheesy innocence and melodies. Now they have editted solos, shitty live performances, they're generally overproduced, and for some reason the scene kids like them. Fail.

Just because someone can be analytical and have taste doesn't make them a snob.
I used to absolutely love DragonForce's second album, and I was pretty cool with their first album. Once their third came around, and I tried listening to it at my local record shop, it dawned on me what rehashed shite DragonForce has always been. Since then, I haven't been able to bear any of their crap.
By the way, I'm not even a huge fan of metal, just so you don't call me a metalsnob or something of the like. I tend to be a musical elitist, which means anything you say to me doesn't matter, anyway, so save yourself from typing pointlessly. :D
And yes, I contradicted myself toward the end, stfu. :[

Soldiers of the Wasteland is a damn good song though. If you forget that every other song sounds exactly the same, then you can get a good listen out of that one.
