Sound familiar?

I know I've heard this quote before. It was taken from a novel, and I've heard it in a Darude song. But I've also heard it in a really awesome trance/chillout mix that I had years ago and seem to have lost (I'm pretty sure it was something recorded off a webcast and given to me). I know it's a long shot, but does anyone recognize this quote from any song they've heard? I don't remember the name or artist of that mix, and it's driving me crazy.

Further complicating things, I'll bet it's actually a sample from a movie or TV show.

Probably so... the guy reading it sounds like he has a vaguely Scottish accent.

I've already googled it 6 ways to Sunday, to no avail. (Most of those results are people's signatures on forums.)
