14.53 gigs of SNES sound files?  Even the entire SNES ROM collection can't be that big.

Name: Anonymous 2006-09-01 2:56 (sage)

11 gb Japanese, 16 total.

Name: Anonymous 2006-09-01 21:19

The size doesn't matter, its the number of actual songs. people with 100+ GBs are audiosnobs who listen to wavs or other ridiculously high kbps formats.

Name: Anonymous 2006-09-02 0:21

10172 songs, 28.3 days (28 days, 8 hours, 42 minutes, 1 second), 51.42 GB.

i have three albums at hand to import, so it'll be a little more by this time tomorrow.. not that it matters.

Name: Anonymous 2006-09-03 8:00

23mb. Including those songs windows gives you.

Name: r0r 2006-09-03 23:42

Hmmm, music directory ?

Music Drives :

All in D:\ 33,710 Files 3,287 Folders
Type : Multiple Types (mp3/mpc, and only 11 singles are ape/cue)
Size : 198,725,540,728 bytes

That in addition to the lossless stuff i've yet to encode and move to that drive, which is about 150~ GB :P

Gotta love running a shoutcast station :P  Demand makes for an interesting collection.

I have a pathetic internet connection (yes, laugh) and no interest in purchasing a large amount of space-consuming CD's. This, in turn, affects my music collection: 3 GB

:(

Name: Anonymous 2006-09-27 20:33

Name: Anonymous 2006-10-14 22:19

Name: Anonymous 2006-10-15 5:11

wow, i would have thought mine small, but only two people have more...

95 gigs

Name: Anonymous 2006-10-15 5:19

478gigabytes. :(

I have directories upon sub directories upon sub directories of every type of music known to man. Though, I honestly can't say I like it all, I plan on sifting through all of them one of these weeks and just take it down to my absolute favourites. I think after that, it'll probably be around 120GB? I know I have 50GB of Mega/Super Eurobeat at the least.

Name: Anonymous 2006-10-17 7:27

3 X xbox + 50 X PS3 * 1000 = my music dir

Name: Orakio 2006-10-26 6:27

262GB

43087 MP3
1057 MPC
847 OGG
238 WMA
104 WAV
85 APE
12 FLAC

Roughly 150 days of playtime.

I list the formats because I find this interesting. In my experience MPC is more popular than OGG yet as far as I can see most "mp3" players support ogg and even wma but not mpc. The WAVs are actually compressed just with codecs like it used to be done in the old days when instead of .mp3 you just encoded a wav as mp3.
