So Jap metal has started coming to the states starting with Dir En Grey. I've heard some of their stuff and it's pretty good, but has anyone heard the CD they brought over here? BTW is it really a good idea to put an album out there in stores that most people can't understand?

Yeah, I mean...theres the screaming and then the hardcore guitar. Thas metal, not good metal but metal all the same.

Well europe has done that for quite a while now, just look at all that american pop crap our shelves are filled with. I bet the average teen who buys that shit has no fucking clue what the "artist" is singing.

Jrock has always had metal influences it doesn't make it metal though. That's why we talk about Jrock, cause it's different from traditional rock.
