oricon jpop single collections on share

hey, does anyone know why the mp3 tags and filenames are all fucked up? sometimes i can't even unzip some of the files because the characters are so weird. does anyone know how to get them to show up right in winxp english version and in mp3 players? i already tried mp3tag's convert codepage function but i had no luck. thanks

i can unzip the files with 7zip if i rename them before unzipping. but what about the tags and filenames? my system can displa y japanese, so it must e in a format my computer doesn't recognize, right? or is it just that the uploaders on share are playing a mean joke?

Try this:
1.download and install mona font.
2.before renaming, copypaste file name on notepad. set font to mona. save as unicode. (for future reference, just skip it if you want)
3.unzip file. Get goodies inside.
4.open goodies with iTunes. The only player I know that can edit/display tags w/ Jap characters without fucking up the file itself.
5. copypaste tags into notepad (again for future ref.) edit title/artist/whatever. rename the filename too.
