I wouldnt call either Mago de Oz or Rata Blanca folk rock.
MdO is more power/fantasy metal-ish. Rata is hard rock with serious classic metal influences and the very occasional insane (lawl) solos.
But by all means, go listen to the first two Rata Blanca albums. And then nothing else.
